Puchi, by Laura Castellanos

Spread the word about GPS’s quartely Art Show for kids and help give Puchi and friends some company on the wall of our office living room!  If you are the parent, grandparent, family member, friend, teacher, mentor or counselor of  a young person, 5 to 18 years old, who loves to express creativity with crayons, paint, colored pencils or any other medium, we have a challenge you won’t want them to miss out on. Join in the fun and help encourage our youth to share their artistic flare with their community! Throughout 2013, the artwork of King County youth will grace the wall of our GPS office ‘living room’ in Kent.  We will focus on different themes for each quarter of the year and select four artists whose creations most uniquely represents that quarter’s theme.

Our third quarter GPS Youth Art Show is currently underway, we will accept new art pieces until September 30 and display them until December 31st.
This quarter’s themes are:

Who do you want to be when you grow up?
Who is your personal hero?

We look forward to receiving some wonderful masterpieces. Mail or bring it to us at Guided Pathways – Support for Youth & Families, 6625 S. 190th St, Suite B108, Kent, WA 98032. Our office hours are 8:30-5:00 for art drop off purposes.  Please be sure to download and complete the entry form posted here, including your young person’s name, age, and address, school and the name and phone number of a parent, grandparent or guardian, with each piece of artwork.
