Parent and Caregiver Classes and Training

Want to learn and develop new parenting skills? We offer classes to help you successfully advocate for yourself, your children and family. Our training provides the knowledge and skills needed to support children and youth in many settings including at home, in school, and in the community. Parent classes prepare you to deal with a wide range of challenging circumstances, situations and opportunities of raising children and youth with emotional, behavioral, mental health and/or substance abuse challenges. This FREE workshop will give parents and caregivers the tools they needs to help their kids succeed!
What is a 504 plan?  What’s in an IEP and when is one needed? What does a parent need to know about these plans to help their child get the best education?  This class will help you with answers to these questions. This workshop will also include a question and answer time and an opportunity to network with other parents and caregivers.
