Social Events

Family game night, nature hike, cards & craft, fitness fair, painting, picnic, kite flying, children’s play day… these are just some of the events planned for families to enjoy together! We invite and encourage you to join us in planning and attending events in your community with other families. Building on strengths we all have by focusing on things other than the challenges we face each day is a great way to reduce stress and help eliminate the isolation we often experience as we struggle to support the children and youth we love.

GPS social events are held in communities throughout King County. Youth and families help choose the type of event, the location, date and time. If you wish to help with the planning or “day of” the event, please email
