Things to do are: Water play; Face painting; Scavenger hunt; and resources for youth, parents and caregivers. There will be games and prizes for all ages – including parents and professionals! Come watch the salmon migrate up the fish ladder and learn all about the Ballard Locks!  This fun, FREE, learning experience will be guided by naturalists from the Seattle Aquarium.  Fun for the whole family at one of Seattle’s most popular attractions. Just celebrating it’s 100th birthday, Ballard (Hiram M. Chittenden) Locks are the Nation’s busiest with over 40,000 vessels/yr.  Boats ‘lock thru’ 24 hours/day, except during maintenance.  In addition, a significant salmon migration passes through the Locks that can total over 100,000 salmon of all kinds.      Click HERE to register.

Come out and join us for a guided nature walk through the Mercer Slough! Remember to dress warm and wear your walking shoes because we will be heading out rain or shine!  The guided walk will promptly start at 2pm. We look forward to receiving some wonderful masterpieces. Mail or bring it to us at Guided Pathways – Support for Youth & Families, 6625 S. 190th St, Suite B108, Kent, WA 98032. Our office hours are 9:00-5:00 for art drop off purposes.  Please be sure to download and complete the entry form posted here, including your young person’s name, age, and address, school and the name and phone number of a parent, grandparent or guardian, with each piece of artwork. Creations selected for each quarter’s GPS Living Room Art Exhibition will be featured in a blog and featured on our living room wall along with the creations of artist Laura Castellanos.  Four selected artist will receive a special gift.
